Sourced from the São Paulo region of Brazil, grown at 800–1,300 masl. Santos refers to the port through which most Brazilian coffee is exported, while the NY 3/4 classification indicates a low defect count and Screen 19 refers to the large bean size. Together, a mark of consistent, well-selected coffee.
In natural processing, whole cherries are dried in the sun with the fruit still intact, allowing the beans to absorb the natural sugars of the cherry. The result is a full-bodied cup with notes of caramel, roasted almond, and blackberries.
