High in the hills of Carmo da Cachoeira, Sul de Minas, Fazenda do Salto spans 800 hectares between 1080 and 1150 meters above sea level. The farm has been in the same family for five generations, now led by Otávio Reis alongside Fabio and his sons, André and Juca. The name comes from the Portuguese "salto," meaning "jump", a nod to the family's other passion: over 100 Mangalarga Marchador horses bred and lovingly kept on the farm.

At the farm, cherries dry on patios for 15–20 days to develop flavor, then finish in rotary dryers for even drying and fewer defects, preserving the clarity and balance built during that patio stage.

Fazenda do Salto is a proud member of the Brazil Specialty Coffee Association, with coffees recognized in competitions including the Cup of Excellence.
