Colombia | Huila
"Las Perlitas" is the name given to this coffee which means "little pearls" in Spanish and it refers to individual farmers who produce high-quality beans but whose harvests are too small to handle export on there own. As a result these farmers joined forces to create this unique blend, combining four different varieties. Las Perlitas has been appreciated and rated at 86+ points.
Fully washed, but with a twist. Colombia's humid climate makes natural processing nearly impossible, so farmers unlock those same vibrant fruit notes through extended fermentation instead, sometimes up to 72 hours, followed by 7–14 days of careful drying.
